Beaches
One of Nerja's main attractions is its beautiful beaches.
The closest beaches to the hostel are Calahonda Beach, located to the left of the Balcón de Europa, and La Caletilla Beach and El Salón Beach, located to the right. You can walk to any of these beaches, as they are only 250 metres from the hostel.
Another legendary beach in Nerja to visit is Burriana Beach, a long beach where you will find numerous amenities for a great day at the beach.
Nerja Caves
It is listed as a Site of Cultural Interest, in the Archaeological Zone category. Located in Maro, a district of Nerja, 4.5 km away.
Balcony of Europe
Named after King Alfonso XII, this is an impressive viewpoint overlooking the sea, 250 metres from the hostel. A place to take a stroll and enjoy the wonderful views.
Nerja Museum
Located at the foot of the hostel, in Plaza España itself. It is the perfect place to learn about the culture and history of the municipality of Nerja and many secrets of the Nerja Cave.
Maro Waterfall
From a steep rock, the Maro Waterfall treats us to a fascinating spectacle as water plunges 15 metres into the sea. Approaching it by kayak or canoe is a breathtaking experience, as is travelling beneath the torrent of water.
Chillar River Route
The Chillar River is located in the heart of the Sierras de Tejeda, Almijara and Alhama Natural Park. It is a hiking trail where you can enjoy natural pools and the beauty of its famous cahorros (gorges).
